Our Story

Fiadh and Daniel, aka Fudge & Gandol, absolutely love stories. Mammy (Julie) has read them bedtime stories every night for years. But, as you can imagine, after a while the same old tales started to feel a bit… repetitive. So, we switched things up!

We started making up our own stories, with enchanted characters and magical places — and before we knew it, we’d accidentally created an entire world: Myrndale. A modern day Tir Na Og, inspired by the Irish landscape, filled with characters who have their own stories, friendships, and adventures.

Before long, we'd created several themes, all of which are coming soon!

Who We Are

We’re a family from Co. Donegal, with a creative spirit, a love of storytelling, and a passion for building beautiful products that spark children’s imagination.

Our first collection, Adventures in Myrndale, is just the start of our journey. We’re already working on new themed story card sets, and an exciting EdTech product designed to grow children’s literacy skills, creativity, and confidence.

For us, it’s not just about stories — it’s about helping every child become the hero of their own adventure.

Fudge & Gandol was born from those bedtime tales — a storytelling brand designed to spark imagination, connection, and confidence in kids. We make:

  • Beautifully illustrated tradable story cards: featuring characters, locations, enchanted objects, and Story Spark cards — designed to be collected and swapped between children, encouraging creative play and connection.
  • A mobile app, where every child becomes the hero of their own story.
  • An EdTech platform to build children’s literacy skills, storytelling confidence, and creativity.
  • Gift-ready products, perfect for family time, classrooms, and special occasions.
